My name is Philip Kerr. I have wanted to travel the world since I was 13 and I am finally doing it. I lost my grandmother on my mothers side to Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also referred to as Lou Gehrig’s disease over 10 years ago now. This is a horrible disease that robs the victim of their motor controls but leaves the mind completely intact until death. This horrible disease has no current treatment let alone cure.

I am riding to raise awareness for the ALS Therapy Development Institute in Cambridge Massachusetts. The dedicated people at ALS TDI need and deserve any and all attention that I can help to bring to their mission to cure this disease.
